The Start of "A Year in Photos."

Okay, so, for those of you who know me, y'all know that as I was growing up, for some reason, I never liked having someone take my picture. I have no idea where any of that anxiety stemmed from, but I just never felt pretty enough for photos. Seriously, there are only a handful of pictures of me from ages 6 to like 17 / 18, I just hated it that much.

And you know what? I totally regret it! There are so many memories that I no longer have, and don't have any photos to look back on. So, this year, I have decided to take as many pictures as I can. I have my nice camera that's about six years old, and then I also bought a new, digital one a couple of months ago ($600, but worth every penny).

I'm going to spend the year taking photos, even if it's just silly selfies of me in bed, cause I'm not feeling to well. I want to document my life, and everything that comes my way - both the good & the bad in a way that I can easily look back on.

I also want to plan something fun every month to do, for the sole purpose of taking photos, so I have something to look forward to. This month, I'm hoping to do a fun little photo shoot with myself, and I'm hoping to do it soon. I'm also hoping that this year, because of the photo stuff I'm doing, I'll be able to keep up with this blog.

We're only five days  into the new year, but I have a feeling that this year is going to be different. A good different. Here's to the new year!
